The build-out, on the public record.
Watermark assembles the public record behind the hyperscale data-center build-out — 38 sites across 11 basins, each a point where compute meets ground, water, and power. Provenance-first, and built in the open.
38 of 38 sites placed, 8 open to read. Marker positions are each site's real coordinates; the state outline and the continental divide are simplified, not to scale.
A marker is the watershed point — the place the record is filed against. It is not a facility, a parcel, or a plant, and most of these sites have no located facility on the record at all.
Unlike a lens, a hypothesis has a verdict to reach — each is under test, scored against every site, and none is settled. A lens describes; these argue.
